Situation:
A skincare brand wanted to redesign its outdated system after employees struggled with tracking sales, inventory, and customer activity. The old tools lacked real-time updates, causing delays, miscounts, and missed opportunities to restock popular products.

App & Website Purpose:
The new internal app gives employees instant access to real-time statistics on sales and inventory, whether a purchase is made online or in-store. This ensures staff are always updated, allowing them to manage stock, monitor performance, and make quicker, data-driven decisions. Alongside this, a redesigned customer-facing website makes online shopping simple, but its real strength lies in seamlessly feeding live updates back to employees.

User Experience Goals:

  • Simplify the ordering process with an intuitive, easy-to-navigate flow.

  • Offer more customization options while keeping the experience straightforward.

  • Increase sales and customer satisfaction with a clear rewards system and real-time order updates.

User Journey Highlights:

  • Discover the App: Customer downloads the app after seeing a promotion.

  • Browse & Customize: They select a latte, choose oat milk, add a flavor shot, and include a special instruction like “extra hot.”

  • Order & Pay: They choose pickup or delivery and complete payment quickly.

  • Rewards & Follow-up: Loyalty points are added automatically, and the app suggests drinks based on their preferences.
